Everything is ready for SeguridadExpo 2025. Organized by FISA, of the GL events group, the fair brings together companies, public agencies, armed forces and industry professionals to discuss and learn about the latest developments in public and private security. In 2024, the exhibition had the participation of more than 150 exhibiting companies, almost 5,000 professional visitors and attendees from 54 countries of the public security, defense, technology and international cooperation ecosystem.

This year we expect to surpass these figures with the help of important sponsors: the Association of Municipalities of Chile (AMUCH), the Government of Santiago, the National Society of Agriculture, the Association of Private Security Companies and Transport of Valuables (ASEVA), the Association of Private Security Professionals (CPSEG), the Chilean chapter of ASIS, among others.

As for the confirmed panels, the first is entitled Prison System in Chile: How to face the heart of the crisis; the second will be a debate on ideas for a safer Chile, while the third will deal with border security and international cooperation, addressing challenges and strategies in a new global scenario.

Cybersecurity also takes a leading role in the exhibition with the Critical Infrastructure at Risk: Resilience and Cyber Defense in an Insecure World panel, with the participation of Senator Kenneth Pugh and other important exponents of the subject in the country.

Rodrigo Bastidas, manager of the logistics and defense unit at FISA, says that this exhibition “is positioned as a platform for innovation and technology, showcasing the latest in technological solutions for comprehensive security, ranging from the public and private sectors to the challenging scenario posed by cybersecurity, particularly in relation to the defense of critical infrastructure”.

In this sense, Bastidas also highlights the collaboration with Carabineros de Chile in the co-organization of the space, “a strategic sponsor whose role in the exhibition is to socialize the institution’s commitment to public safety, through the staging of its different resources to combat crime and other aspects of public safety”.

Finally, the manager referred to the panel -under preparation- with the presidential candidates: “We will learn about the proposals offered by each of the candidates in terms of security, the issue that most concerns Chileans at this time according to all the polls. It will be an opportunity to learn about concrete measures, on the part of the presidential candidates, to face this social problem”.
