SeguridadExpo 2026 is gearing up for a new edition in which it aims to establish itself as the leading industry gathering in Chile and Latin America. The event will bring together companies, government officials, and experts to discuss solutions, technologies, and trends, at a time when security is increasingly at the center of the debate.

The exhibition, recognized as a key platform for connecting supply and demand in the sector, will address strategic issues for the country’s development in this area. Against this backdrop, the trade show organized by FISA, part of the GL events Chile Group, will structure its content around four fundamental pillars.

The key areas that will shape the sector’s agenda

The first of these is border security, an area that has gained increasing importance due to rising migration flows. This theme will address control technologies and surveillance systems designed to strengthen management in border areas. It focuses on the armed forces, police, customs services, immigration authorities, and border control agencies, as well as international organizations involved in border management.

At the same time, security within the prison ecosystem will bring to the forefront the challenges facing the prison system, particularly in terms of control and monitoring. Technological solutions and international best practices aimed at improving management and reducing recidivism will be presented. This track brings together institutions such as the Gendarmerie, ministries of justice, prison administrations, human rights organizations, and providers of technology for correctional facilities.

Added to this is the track focused on combating organized crime. This is an issue directly linked to border security and calls for an update to public policies aimed at preventing such crimes.

Finally, the major new development this year is the inclusion of the focus on public order and the management of mass events. In a world where sporting events, concerts, and other gatherings of all kinds are part of daily life, it is increasingly essential for the sector to adopt modern approaches and utilize all available technology to prevent disasters.

“SeguridadExpo has established itself as a key platform for addressing the sector’s current challenges from a comprehensive perspective. These four pillars address the country’s main concerns and aim to create an effective forum for dialogue between the public and private sectors, where concrete solutions and genuine collaboration can be fostered,” said Rodrigo Bastidas, the fair’s general manager.

With this initiative, SeguridadExpo 2026 aims to establish itself as a key forum for analysis, networking, and the presentation of innovative solutions, reaffirming its role as a strategic platform for the sector’s development in Chile and the region.
