Security has become one of the country’s top concerns, and SeguridadExpo 2026 will serve as a key platform for addressing the challenges facing this priority sector. For this reason, the trade show aims to bring together today’s leading industry players to explore new technological tools designed to create safer environments.

In this vein, representatives from FISA held a meeting this week with the National Chamber of Private Security, a partner organization of the event, to advance the content and thematic focus of the conference that will take place as part of the exhibition.

One of the participants in the meeting was Ricardo Yáñez, a retired general of the Carabineros and current advisor to the Technical Committee of the National Chamber of Private Security, who highlighted the value of creating spaces for dialogue and collaboration between public and private institutions in light of the current security situation in the country.

“We would like to thank FISA, the organizer of SeguridadExpo, for inviting the National Security Chamber to participate as a partner. We are a recently established organization that not only represents the entire private security industry but also places value on what all citizens of our country are demanding and highly value: improved security conditions,” he said.

He also emphasized the importance of such gatherings for discussing and learning about new tools applied to the sector. “This is a space that allows us to engage in dialogue, share insights, and address relevant issues in this field, but also to learn about new technologies and systems that help create safer spaces, calmer environments, and enable business and industrial activities to operate much more securely,” he stated.

Yáñez also highlighted the role that the National Chamber of Private Security will play in this new edition of SeguridadExpo. “As an advisor to the Technical Committee of the National Chamber of Security, it is my responsibility to accompany them at these events, and we are very pleased to be key players in this new SeguridadExpo in our country,” he commented.

Finally, the former general highlighted the high expectations surrounding the event and the opportunity it represents for the industry. “Today, Chile is facing one of the most challenging periods in its history in terms of security. It is the top priority for all Chileans, and therefore, events like this one open up a tremendous opportunity not only to advance in terms of security but also to share everything that is being done internationally, as well as how different institutions in our country are collaborating,” he concluded.
