Loss Prevention is an integral process, in which all the departments of the organization participate, having as a principle that there are losses or damages so large that they can cause the operation to stop, such as: cyber, environment, fraud, mismanagement in natural disasters, poor quality, adulterations, thefts, accidents, etc.

The premise is that the owners of productive processes know and are responsible for them, therefore they know what materials should be protected, what weaknesses exist, vulnerabilities and threats.

Therefore, not sharing this information related to losses will generate a considerable damage to the production process or its continuity. Hence the origin of a good solution, when there is appropriate or accurate information to solve a problem, which is often not provided because the problem is unknown or timely action is not taken.

This usually happens also due to the lack of operational awareness or irresponsibility with their production or continuity processes and within that awareness is everything related to: labor safety, quality, environment, heritage security, loss prevention.
